Our Story
Emily and I met in the summer of 2014 in Raleigh, NC. At the time, Emily (Concord, NC) was in her senior year at Meredith College, while I (Hendersonville, NC) worked as a teacher in Wake County. After more than a year of dating, we decided to take a leap of faith together and move to China to teach, travel, and learn about other cultures. Through these adventures together, we not only have grown in love, faith, and friendship, but also as a couple who works together as a team. We both are looking forward to our marriage.

I’ve known Kenny since him and his family moved from Georgia where we grew up together in the EUMC youth group. He’s always been there for me through countless adventures and even some difficult times. I’m honored to have him with me as my co-best man

Drew and I grew up together on All Star Lane as neighbors and he’s my longest and closest friend. We’ve been through so much together its hard to summarize it all in a short paragraph but needless to say, it’s a true honor for him to stand with me as my co-best man.

Raiders, Falcons, and Wolfpack. Whit (David) and I have known each other for a long time. He’s one of the most talented guys I know and I consider him to be one of my closest friends. Honored to have him with me on my wedding day.
Kids
We love your kids! However, there will be an open bar at our venue which is a vineyard, so if possible arrange for alternative child care or a baby sitter. If it is not possible to arrange a baby sitter, that is okay and we understand.
Covid-19
Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our wedding until July 23, 2022. However, we feel it is finally safe to host a large event and we hope to see you at the same time and venue on July 23, 2022!
